Creating stronger futures for children and young people through relational care and support.
About us
The Aspire Wellbeing Group has been a trusted name in care provision and associated services since 2007 and has a very well-established service for vulnerable adults and older people who are in need of care and support. In 2025 we expanded to include Aspire Young Person’s Connect which focuses on providing children’s residential care and young people’s supported living homes for children and young people in need of care and support.
Everything we do is to help people live WELL. At Aspire Wellbeing, we strongly believe in personalised care and support that is tailored to meet individual need. We are constantly finding innovative ways to make a difference in the lives of the people we support now and in preperation for adult life.
Our Mission
Our mission and values underpin everything we do and shape our practice at every level of the organisation. We believe in the potential of every child and young person. By investing in meaningful relationships and delivering high-quality, compassionate services, we support children and young people to become the best version of themselves.
We remain committed to young people through both the challenging and the positive moments. By standing alongside them consistently, our belief in their abilities creates lasting change — not just for today, but for their future.
Our Vision
Our vision is for children, young people and families to feel safe, valued and supported to be the best version of themselves. It is important to us that everything we do is with kindness and compassion, even when the everything is at times tough. We believe that with tailored support and guidance children and young people’s individual needs will be met and they have the potential to develop the motivation and skills they need to lead a fulfilling and rewarding life now and in the future.
We believe that by providing young people with positive role models and a dedicated, relational and experienced team around them, we equip young people with the life skills they need to create a stronger future.
Our Values
It is important that everyone who plays a part in the care and support of young people across the Aspire Young Person’s Connect practice and hold the services values. These being:
- Empowerment and Collaboration
- Dignity and Respect
- Trustworthiness and Compassion
- Safety and Choice
- Cultural and Identity Consideration
We recognise language matters. The words we use influence how people think, feel, and behave. That is why we adopt a Language That Cares approach in our practice. As a result, some of the terminology we use may differ from the language found in legislation. This reflects our commitment to dignity, respect, and relationships, while still working within the legal frameworks that guide our services.
How do we support young people in creating a stronger future?
We support young people into independence by working with them to develop a preparation for adult life plan which supports them with:
- Health and wellbeing.
- Homes and Housing.
- Making and maintaining positive relationships.
- Supporting Education, Employment and training.
- Participation in society.
Support Plans and Preparation for Adult Life Plans are regularly reviewed with young people to reflect on challenges and agree new goals. Reviews ensure that outcomes remain relevant, achievable, and aligned with the young person’s evolving needs.
Language that cares
We believe the language we use is important and links directly to how people think, feel and behave, therefore we have adopted a language that cares approach to our practice, which is why some of the words we use look and sound different to those cited in the legislation which underpins our work.
Our Practice Model
Our strengths-based practice model is built on the foundation principles of trauma informed and task centred practice. We recognise that adversity and trauma can have a long-lasting impact on children and young people’s mental health and their relationships with others. We see people’s reactions and responses to adverse and traumatic events as attempts to repair and make sense of their lived experience and futures.
We encourage everyone across Aspire Young Persons Connect to adopt a professional curiosity about adversity and trauma – to take the time to listen to the young people we work with, to understand what lies behind the behaviours.
Following a Trauma Informed Practice approach which is built on a strengths-based framework, which is grounded in an understanding of and responsiveness to the impact of trauma, that emphasises physical, psychological, and emotional safety for everyone. We look to create opportunities for people to rebuild a sense of control and empowerment.
